The Shree Sundara Laxmi Rajmata Prizes - 2020
Marathi Literature Prizes, age group 19-21 and age 15-17
In 2020, The Shree Sundara Laxmi Rajmata Prize for Marathi literature will be given to young adults between the ages 19 to 21 and ages 15-17 of Vidrabha.
The Foundation will annouce the 2020 contest details soon.
The winners will be selected by the Marathi Sahitya academy board of Shree Sundara Laxmi Rajmata foundation, Stockholm Sweden. The topic of the submissions is always that of "Mother", but every year, the board will announce if there is a specific perspective which it wishes the young writers to write from. Winners are selected based on the following criteria: originality, relevance to theme, emotional depth and clarity, writing skill and strength of character depiction and skill of telling a story.
Artistic and Literature Prizes, age group 6-13
In 2020, fThe Shree Sundara Laxmi Rajmata Prizes will be given to young children aged 6-13. The children will be asked to submit an artwork on the topic of their own mother. The youngest will be asked to submit a drawing or painting, the older a combined work of art and text. The awards will be given in the form of bicycles, cash and award certificates.
The prizes are awarded by the Artistic academy board of Shree Sundara Laxmi Rajmata foundation Stockholm, Sweden. The topic is always "Mother", but the Artistic board will each year give details on what it expects the children to include in their work.

Marathi Laureates - Ages 17-21
In 2019, the young adults of Western Vidharbha from 430+ its colleges wrote about their mothers and their world with emotional depth and remarkable honesty. Their words were fresh words and their expression at times were poetic.
Milind Patole of Shree Shivaji college of Art and Science Chikhali, Buldhana and Arati Katake of Umerkhed, Yavatmal. Milind Patole received cash prize of Rs 11,111 with a certifcate. Arati Patole recived cash proze of Rs 5111 Rs and a certifate.
Marathi Laureates - Ages 7-9
In 2019, the youngchildren of Kavatha, Amboda, Sakur, Kosdani and Mukindpur of Yavatmal distrcit wrote about their mothers with remarkable originality and honesty.
Sujit Rathod of Kavatha,Vaishnavi Kathlevad received bicycle and a certifcate each.
Marathi Laureates - Ages 5-7
In 2019, the youngchildren of Kavatha, Amboda, Sakur, Kosdani and Mukindpur of Yavatmal distrcit drew their mothers with emotions and reflective clarity. Their mothers working in the farm, working in the house, fetching water.
Darshan Meshram of Mukindpur, Vrushali Dhavane of Sakur and Anamika of Kosdani, all received cash prizez and certifcate each.

In 2018, the children of Mukindpur wrote about their mothers and their world with emotional depth and remarkable honesty. Their words were fresh words and their expression at times were poetic.
